Dr Simeons HCG Diet Protocol All Wrapped Up

Dr A.T.W. Simeons was a British Endocrinologist who discovered the effects of HCG on weight loss. The protocol he developed over years of research and thousands of patient studies is a revolutionary concept that cures obesity.

The protocol is a combination of the naturally produced chemical HCG and specific foods and phases.

The diet is safe and effective with a success rate of 70% across the board. If you are looking to end your weight battles forever, the HCG diet can help. One entire cycle of the diet takes an average on 2 1/2 months and people lose about 25 – 30 pounds in that time. This includes 1 month of weight loss and 6 weeks to reset your metabolism in order to keep the weight off. This process is actually what makes the HCG diet so different from any other diet available.

The hypothalamus is the part of the brain that regulates several functions of the body including how we use and store fat. HCG or human chorionic gonadotropin is a naturally produced chemical that instructs the hypothalamus to release reserved fat stores. This is important because there is no other way to access these fat stores aside from starvation.

Taking very small amounts of HCG allows the fat to be mobilized and used to fuel the body. This causes 3000 to 4000 calories to enter your bloodstream every day and drastically reduces hunger.

Dr. Simeons broke the diet plan down into phases. This strategy has been adopted by many all over the world and has produced phenomenal results when followed diligently. Each phase has diet steps that, combined with HCG, result in fast and healthy weight loss.

The first phase of the HCG diet is the load phase. This two to three day phase prepares your body for phase two. Phase one is when you begin taking HCG while eating as much fat as you can. This will cause you to avoid hunger during the first few days of VLCD, phase two, while the HCG is getting into your system. It is important to focus on fat during your load days while limiting carbohydrates and starches. The more you eat the better. The better you do on phase one, the more success you will experience on phase two, so eat up!

Phase two, VLCD (very low calorie diet), can last anywhere from 21 days to 40 days depending on your weight loss goals. During VLCD you follow a very specific 500 calorie a day diet while continuing to take the HCG. The foods allowed during VLCD we found over years of research and studies of food combinations. They are the only ones you can eat and experience the results you want. Any deviations can have a negative impact on your weight loss.

The maintenance phase comes next. This is the part of the diet that retrains your metabolism to work at a healthier weight so that you can go back to eating normally without fear of regaining the weight you lost on VLCD. This phase must be followed exactly or you risk undoing all of your hard work. Phase three is a week to week reintroduction of food.

The final phase of the HCG diet is the life phase. This is a full integration of foods with an indulgence here and there allowed. The idea of the HCG diet as a whole is that you don’t have to diet for the rest of your life to enjoy a healthy weight. You can eat what you want and keep the pound from coming back. You will have to be sure not to fall back into the old bad habits that caused you to gain weight in the first place such as regular fast food and high processed foods but the occasional splurge will not cause a gain if maintenance was followed properly.

Dr. Simeons HCG diet protocol can give you the jump start you need to a new healthier lifestyle. Learn the diet and commit to it and you too can achieve the weight loss results that thousands of HCG dieters around the world have.
