There is no alcohol consumption allowed during Phase 2 or the first part of phase 3 on the HCG diet. During the last half of maintenance you can choose to reintroduce alcohol as you reintroduce carbohydrates.
Alcohol is a sugar and will have an adverse affect on your weight loss during any part of the diet when sugar is restricted. You must plan ahead for this component of the diet as it can be very difficult for some.
Be sure there aren’t any major events taking place during your diet that may make it more difficult to refrain from indulging. The holidays are a particularly difficult time to attempt any major dieting such as the HCG diet.

So if you are considering the HCG diet and alcoholic beverages are a part of your life you definitely have a decision to make. You need to fully commit to the protocol or it will not work. There are no deviations of any kind allowed so mentally prepare for this before you even begin. The HCG diet can and will help you lose all the weight you want but you must be willing to make some sacrifices for it to work for you.
